Bobby Carantes is a lyricist-composer who writes and performs primarily for his act. In this album, however, he writes songs for other artists to perform. Bobby Carantes was once a composer , a main vocalist and lead guitarist of the now defunct folk/ ethnic rock group, BAG-IW which performed in Manila, Olongapo and Baguio from 1978 to 1980, the 1980s and 90s respectively, and which at one time recorded under major labels Vicor and Polycosmic Records. He is currently a professor in a state college and a private university in Baguio City where he is based.
