Mahru is a gifted artist having a golden voice who discovered her own talent and passion for singing at a very young age. She began her love for music and arts when she first sang "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" from Evita with all the right notes and lyrics. She served as head of her High School glee club and won in school-wide contests including the top prize of UST's AB College Songfest 1998 and had written some commercial jingles and performed for various corporate and private functions; a former banker who had a bachelor's degree in Legal Management from the University of Santo Tomas; an entrepreneur by profession, she's also a devoted wife and a hands-on mom to her 3-year old son.
